I usually go to Walmart on Tuesdays, because Liv is in school so it is just Cruz and me. However, this week, we couldn’t wait until Tuesday–so Monday it was. Monday, at Walmart, with two kids under the age of 4.

SUPER FUN. Like, SIGN ME UP for that shit show. I want front row seats.

Okay, it wasn’t THAT bad and hell, with an outfit like this one–who could have a bad day? Right?

The Look

I LOVE this hooded sweater from Target. It is soft, comfy and not too heavy–so it’s great for layering. It’s actually a navy stripe, not black. Some people are still uncomfortable with the black and navy mix, but not me.

To hell with the rules, man. Unless you are Liv, then you need rules. You are three.

I paired the striped sweater with THE blazer, dark wash skinnies, and grey oxfords.

I had a love/hate relationship with skinny jeans for the longest time. With my pear-shaped body-type, it was hard to find the right fit that also flattered.

Then, along came the high-waisted trend. My life was instantly changed for the better. When I saw these particular jeans on HM.com a few years ago, I had a feeling they’d be great–so I bought them in black and blue.

I was right, 3 years later they still look and feel great–and they were only $20 a pair!

The oxfords were a birthday gift from my mother-in-law and are SUPER comfy. They are more stylish than a tennis shoe but just as easy to wear.

Imitation is the highest form of flattery, so go ahead–flatter me.
